The Trustees' Table, nestled in the serene surroundings of Harrodsburg, KY, offers a delightful farm-to-table dining experience that has captivated locals and travelers alike. With an emphasis on fresh ingredients, diners rave about the diverse menu, from the Apple Gorgonzola Salad to their renowned fried green tomatoes. Patrons like David Crouch commend the out-of-this-world flavors, particularly highlighting the shrimp and a uniquely delicious lemon pie. A consistent theme in reviews is the exceptional service, epitomized by staff like Devon, who enhances the dining experience with her attentiveness and warmth. Customer Keifer Adkins was particularly struck by the tender fried chicken, which left such an impression that he promises to return. Mason Combs spotlighted the outstanding quality of even the simplest dishes, noting that the asparagus was a standout, breaking the norm of disappointing greens often found elsewhere. Guests also appreciate the ambiance, with Shainey Marcus describing it as perfect for a quiet meal. Margaret Gilbert captured the essence of The Trustees' Table, successfully focusing on the innovative French dip, crafted with rosemary-infused beef roast and a rich au jus that left her craving more despite the absence of the beloved fried chicken. In summary, The Trustees' Table is more than just a restaurant; it is a sanctuary of taste, welcoming service, and unforgettable culinary moments waiting to be experienced.

Highly recommend. Service was stellar. Food was out of this world. Get the fried green tomatoes. You won't regret it! Shrimp was delicious. Lemon pie was unlike any lemon pie I've had. If you get the opportunity, eat here.

Trustees Table gives a sense of peace. I had some of the most tender fried chicken. And Devon was such a sweet and kind hearted server. She answered all of my questions and spaced out the food well. I’ll definitely be coming back here for lunch.

All I can say is WOW!!! Everything is great here all the way down to the asparagus which sucks everywhere else I've ever been! The shrimp huspuppies were great and the mashed potatoes were the best of the best. The staff is super friendly and I'm just trying to figure out how this place is anything less that 5 stars on google.

This is a fantastic farm to table restaurant. The desserts are amazing. You definitely need to try the fried okra. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful meal this is the perfect place. Follow us for more great reviewsTM

I was so disappointed when I was there the other day and they had taken the out-of-this-world fried chicken dish off the menu. I still think they were crazy for doing this, but we decided on the French dip for lunch. I cannot explain to you how amazing this French dip was. Have you ever had a French dip with rosemary infused beef roast and au jus instead of deli meat? Me neither! WOW!!! It was a winner! I will get it again in a heartbeat — if the chicken isn’t available for some crazy reason. We love eating there anytime we are in the area. Thank you for providing farm fresh and delicious food at affordable prices. We will continue to be repeat customers. For the record, we’ve eaten several meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) here over the years and we have never been disappointed.

Shaker Village is one of our favorite, special occassion places to dine. They have a VERY good gluten free menu, including bread and dessert! We have been several times and always have perfectly cooked food. Glenna has been our waitress the last two dinners and she is very warm and attentive. I had the pork chop, green beans and ordered an extra side of mashed potatoes. My husband had the prime rib and brussel sprouts. It was all perfectly cooked! I also enjoyed a peach cider made with their local honey and oh my gosh, it is transcendent! We also indulged in dessert which was a gluten free pumpkin cheesecake in a jar (so good) and my husband had the lemon pie which he enjoyed for its sharpness.

Everything about this place was amazing. I knew it was going to be pricey, which made me expect the food to be just ok. I couldn't have been more wrong! I ordered the pork chop and brussel sprouts. This was, by far, the BEST chop I have ever had anywhere! It was tender, juicy, and thick, with the best flavor! The sprouts were glazed and crispy, with a burst of salty greatness in your mouth! I highly recommend this restaurant for dates, special occasions, or just a family outing. Make sure you have reservations.

We have been here multiple times and the food is always incredible!!! Their water is always super cold and tastes great! I love the fried chicken dinner and never can seem to order anything else. I gave 5 stars on the food and atmosphere, the service and hostess could definitely use an improvement though as we were wait listed for 15 mins with a seemingly empty restaurant. We were seated at a table that was empty when we came in. Once seated we waited almost 5 minutes for our server to bring drinks. If you can get by these small inconveniences, it's well worth a visit for the food!
